A Wedding to Remember

The last wedding of the year 2021... Takashi & Edrick's wedding was one of the most memorable weddings of the year. What a wedding to end with!

The couple are both islanders. She is from a well known island family and he is a famous soccer player for a national team, Olimpia. Edrick mentioned he never thought Takashi would accept having a coffee date with him, but that that coffee date was the beginning of this love story. He was so nervous, and they just clicked that during this 1st date, they even forgot to buy any coffee and they just sat there for hours talking. (Cue the "awwwwsss")

Both of their vows just made everyone tear-up during their sunset ceremony. You know they are madly in love with how they both just look at each other and the essence of both of them.

The ceremony started before sunset and was over the infinity pool of the Pristine Bay Beach Club. The whole event was planned by our favorite wedding planners, Roatan Events. The event was held for over 150 people. The decoration was a beautiful subtle pastel blush and white florals with greenery everywhere.... from the entry arch, to the stairways, the pool, the tables, the sweet stations... everywhere you looked. All the florals were made by the incredible Elias del Cid from Touches Honduras. Their ceremony runway had a mirror effect that reflected the beautiful blue skies and made it seem like they were standing on water.

The bride wore a beautiful dress designed by Eve of Milady that she bought at CC's Bridal Boutique. The groom wore a designer tux by Honduran designer Yoyo Barrientos.

The cake was a show stopper all on it's own. Just breathtaking work. The cake was made by Connie Jackson from Sugar Creations here on Roatan. Beautiful artwork and delicious.

After the ceremony we took the couples bridal portraits and sunset and captured some of these jawdropping, envy-worthy shots below.
